Obituary

Anne "Annie" Cecile Granger 75 years old, formally of Winooski passed away peacefully on Thursday September 10, 2020 at UVM Medical Center in Burlington. She was a devoted wife, mother and caregiver. Anne truly lived life surrounded by her family, caring for her brother and mother. Annie was a small woman but a firecracker, she had a personality 100 times her size! She loved Bingo and had many of adventures with friends coming home excited about her winnings. So many wonderful memories camping with her husband, boys and friends. If Annie was a superhero her ability would be finding money, she had an uncanny knack for finding money where ever she went from loose change to lost bills. She was an animal lover and always had dogs, cats and birds throughout her life. She leaves her devoted cat Garfield. Anne is survived by her twin sister Phyllis Murphy of Northfield, VT. Phyllis will forever hold "Cricket" in her heart and her ever lasting bond with her sister. She also leaves her two sons Roger Granger of Milton, Norman Granger and his wife Bonnie Granger of Winooski. Her two grandchildren, Collin Granger of Milton and Adison Granger of Winooski. She also leaves her nephews, grand nieces and nephews as well as other loved ones whose lives Anne touched. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard and her husband, the love of her life, Norman G. Granger. The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to UVM Medical Center for their wonderful care and compassion given to our Mom during her short stay. No services will be held due to Covid. In remembrance a donation to your local Humane Society in her memory would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
