In Loving Memory of Clarice "Carkie" Bickford

Clarice "Carkie" Bickford, 90, of Burlington, VT, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025. Formally of North Woodstock, NH, daughter of Shirley and Emily Avery.

Clarice is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, David Bickford, their four children: Robin, Michael, Holly, and Andrew, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

After graduating from Laconia Nursing School, Carkie worked as an Operating RN at Exeter Hospital, then later at Fletcher Allen, Lyman C. Hunt, and The Columbine Nursing Home. Clarice loved cooking for her family, making crafts, and spending time in her flower garden. Above all, her greatest joy was the love she shared with her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
