Obituary

Craig J Fuller, 50, most recently of Groton Connecticut but spent most of his life in Barre, Vermont passed away on November 3, 2021, unexpectedly. Craig was born on March 30, 1971, to Nancy and David Fuller in Rutland. After graduating from Mill River High School in 1989, he went on to study Psychology at Johnson State College and graduated in 1993. JSC is where he met his wife Kathi. There are a few close friends who know the true story of the beginning of their life together and it did not begin by meeting at the library of the school. In 1993 they married and have 2 children, Hannah and Jacob After graduation, he landed his first job at Washington County Mental Health and was there for 4 years. Craig went on to get his Masters Degree in Education in 2007 from Southern New Hampshire University. He was a passionate teacher. He taught at Northfield Elementary school for 16 years and then went on to work at Randolph Technical Career Center for the last two years. He loved his students and teaching so much. Many past students and families still reached out to him often stating that he was their favorite teacher. He was recognized as UVM Teacher of the Year in 2014. He recently was employed at Mystic Seaport Museum where he loved working on the water and as a history buff, enjoyed helping people visiting there. Craig was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Hannah, Jacob, and Kathi and always tried his best to support them. Craig was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family. They enjoyed many camping trips to the New England coast, enjoyed taking vacations with family, and woodworking. Anyone who knew Craig knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Craig was predeceased by his father and his maternal grandparents.
