Obituary

Eddie A. Miller died after a short illness at The Respite House in Colchester. He was born December 16, 1958, in Burlington, VT the son of Harold and Virginia (White) Miller. Eddie attended Burlington High School. He enjoyed the outdoors and his interests included; playing cards, chess, camping, target shooting, fishing and hunting. Eddie has always enjoyed being a rebel and doing things his way. Our memories of his escapades will keep us talking and laughing. Eddie spent many happy hours throughout his life at his Grandparents home in Bristol. He also loved to spend summer and hunting season at his cousins Jimmy and Debbies deer camp he helped build in Cabot, where Jimmy and Eddie would often be found playing cribbage. Most important in his life was his son Sean. They enjoyed spending time in the woods together and many other activities. Eddie was pleasantly surprised when Sean named his son after The Duke, Eddies favorite cowboy. Eddie shared a very special relationship with his Grandson Duke. Eddie is survived by his beloved son, Sean Miller of Swanton and his beloved grandson, Duke. Eddie is also survived by his sister and her husband, Denise and Gregory Norris of Colchester; sister Bonnie Chandler of Burlington; brother Gerald Miller of Burlington; sister Laurie Miller of Florida; and brother Thomas Miller of Mississippi. Eddie is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his parents, a sister Debbie Miller and a brother David Miller. He was also predeceased by two nephews. The family would like to thank The Respite House for the excellent care of Eddie and the caring support of our family. There will be a Celebration of Life in the Summer at the convenience of the family. Donations in Eddies memory can be made to: The McClure Miller Respite House, 3113 Roosevelt Highway, Colchester, VT 05446.
