Loren A. Darling Jr., age 56, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026.

Loren was born on June 19, 1970, the son of Pam Latour and Loren Darling Sr

Loren leaves behind the love of his life Lisa Sylvester, her son Jeff Laflin and his cherished home in Hyde Park.

Loren is survived by his mother, Pam Latour of Chapman, Kansas; his father, Loren Darling Sr. of Morrisville, Vermont; his wife, Theresa; and his sister, Tina Darling, and her husband, Joe, of Chapman, Kansas

He also leaves behind his beloved grandmothers Beryl Darling of Craftsbury, Vermont and Helene Stacy of Albany Vermont ; his nephew, Tyler Gomes, and his wife, Hailey; his great-nephew, Tucker of Milford, Kansas; his niece, Nichole Jones, and her husband, Dean; his great-nieces, Leona and Madilyn of Eden, Vermont; and his grandchildren, Tanner, Avianah, and Braylee. He will be fondly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Throughout his life, Loren dedicated himself to hard work. He spent many years working alongside his father at Darling's land service, where he served as vice president. More recently, he spent his days painting alongside his cousin and lifelong best friend, Chris Sanville.

Loren had a passion for various activities, including hunting, fishing, and gardening. He always looked forward to the changes of the seasons. Every year, without fail, he would create a snowman in the winter and carve a pumpkin in the fall.

In keeping with his love for quiet, simple moments, no formal funeral services will be held
