Merlin E. Neddo, 95, died Saturday, May 17th, 2025, at UVMC with Family. Born June 24th, 1929, the son of Albert and Meryle (Eastman) Neddo. He grew up on a farm on East Hill in Barre Town, VT. On June 17th, 1950, he married Irene Bisson. They moved to East Barre and later Orange, VT.

They raised five children - Francis Neddo, Arnold Neddo, Joan Stepp (now deceased), Kathleen Blondin, and David Neddo. His wife Irene died in 2017. He has two deceased sisters - Lyle and Lillian. Surviving is brothers Arthur and Roger Neddo and sister Hazel Roy. He had a large extended family and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Merlin was a self-educated man and so much more - a machinist, mechanic, builder, and gardener. He worked in the granite industry. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and snowmobiling. He remained active in his family's lives and maintained his independence until he died.
