Phyllis Ann Peer (McMahon), 68, passed away on Tuesday July 21st , 2020 at University of Vermont Medical Center. She was born on November 26th, 1951, in Village of Malone, New York to Richard and Eileen (Gervais) McMahon.
Phyllis grew up in Bangor, New York. She graduated from Brushton Moira Central School District in Malone, New York in 1971. After high school she attended college at North Country Community College in Malone, New York where she received a degree in Licensed Practical Nursing in 1973.
She enjoyed making family and friends Quilts, Photo Albums, Wedding Flowers, and anything else crafty. She loved spending time with her grandchild, family, and friends.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her Mother Eileen (Gervais) McMahon and Baby Sister Margaret Jean McMahon.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters Mary and (Shawn) Camley of Mooresville, North Carolina; Dawn and (Adam) Courcy of St. Albans, Vermont; Denise and (Eric) Cummings of Colchester, Vermont, her brother Michael (Joanne) McMahon, of Bangor, New York; her grandchildren Alex Camley, Caitlin Camely, Jacob Therrien and Kyle Therrien; Bonus Grandchildren Lauren and Chloe Courcy- Latulippe, her cousins and her fur babies (Cats) that she loved deeply.
A mass service at the cemetery will be held in Spring of 2021. With a Luncheon following right after for family and friends.
The family would like to Thank the wonderful nursing staff at Northwest Medical Center ER Department, UVM Medical Center - Medical ICU and Baird 3 for showing our mother compassion in her final days.
