Robert Lee Messer, lovingly known as Bob, was born in Canton, Ohio, and moved to Florida before the birth of his first child. He dedicated 33 years of his career to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, where he worked as a fingerprint technician.

Bob had a love for antiques, finding a good deal, and spending time in the woods. He was a natural storyteller who never failed to entertain those around him with a good story or a classic dad joke. His humor, warmth, and love for his family were among the many things that made him special.

Above all, Bob was a devoted husband and a wonderful father. He took pride in providing for his family and creating memories that will be cherished for generations. His stories, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Roseann Messer; his daughters, Jennifer Saeed, Jessica DeCapria, and Elizabeth Messer; his sons-in-law, Salem Ganem and Andrew DeCapria; and his cherished grandchildren, Laith, Leana, and Layali Ganem, along with his extended family.

Bob will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable stories will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
