Scott A. Farnsworth, of Burlington, Vermont, passed peacefully on December 19, 2025. Born on November 21, 1973, Scott was the youngest of three siblings.

Scott is survived by his sister, Tina Guyette, and her spouse, Jay Paquette; his brother, Ted Farnsworth, and his wife, Brenda Farnsworth. He is also survived by his two nieces, three nephews, and many cousins who will remember his humor, kindness, and unique spirit.

Scott shared a special, close bond with his sister Tina, filled with laughter, tears, and cherished memories.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Shirley Farnsworth and Theodore Farnsworth, Sr., whom he loved and missed deeply throughout his life.

He held a deep appreciation for the military and history, and he loved losing himself in the pages of a good book. His green thumb brought him joy and peace through flowers and gardening, and his love for animals was evident in his devotion to his beloved cat, Hank. A lifelong music fan, Scott was a devoted listener of Metallica, enjoying their music until the very end.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to Donna Hanlon for her years of care, love, and friendship with Scott, and to Ray Gratton for offering a kind, inspiring, and deeply meaningful prayer in his final moments.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, honoring Scott in a way that reflects the depth of his passions, the warmth of his heart, and the joy he brought to those around him.

Scott A. Farnsworth will be deeply missed and forever remembered. His love, his stories, and his spirit will remain with all who knew him.
