William G. Smith Jr. (Bill) of Waterbury, Vermont, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, August 5th 2021. He was born on May 12th, 1967 in Middlebury, Vermont, the son of William Smith Sr. and Frieda H. (Ballard) Smith, both from New York.
William (Bill) graduated from Rochester High School in Rochester, VT in 1985. He was married to Linda (Pronto) Smith in 1992. He worked for Bath Fitters in South Burlington for 21 years, then went to work for Keurig, Dr. Pepper for two years, finally ending up working for MSI in Morrisville, Vermont.
William (Bill) enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and grandchildren. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going out to eat, and traveling. He also loved playing his PS4 games, and gardening with his flowers.
William (Bill) is survived by his wife Linda (Pronto) Smith, his two sons Travis Green of Waitsfield and Mike Greene of Waterbury, as well as his daughter Terri Sherman of Morrissville, Vermont. His two sisters Veronica (Smith) Pierce of Waterbury, and Dawn Smith of Bethel, Vermont, as well as his two brothers Theodore Smith and his wife Lynn (Reed) Smith of Hancock, Vermont and Dwayne Smith and his wife Donah Smith of Rutland, Vermont. He is also survived by his foster mother Betty Pierce of Randolph, Vermont, foster sisters Laurie Ainsworth of Rochester, Vermont, Cindy BeLisle of Granville, Vermont, Patty Twitchell of Granville, Vermont, his two foster brothers Mike Blake of Rochester, Vermont and Wayne Pierce of Grandville, Vermont. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and four grandchildren: Kayla Green, Cayden Green, Calleigh Greene, and Olivia Weston.
William (Bill) was predeceased by his parents William G. Smith Sr. and Frieda (Ballard) Smith, as well as his two brothers Randy Smith and Bradly Smith, his foster father Francis Pierce, and his grandson Jeffrey Kitteridge.
